We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team. As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running and management of our Ofsted regulated residential provisions. You will ensure that the homes meet the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose and are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, achieving the best outcomes for the young people we support. You will lead by example and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team offering guidance and support to staff at all levels.

  • You will work 39 hours per week (plus on call duties)
  • The role will include some shift work (wknds/ lates/ earlies/ days/ sleeps) to meet the needs of the service and carry out full duties of the role
  • The role involves working at our homes across the Rochdale, Rossendale and Oldham areas
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • A full UK driving license
  • At least 2 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) relevant to the residential care of children
  • At least 1 years’ experience supervising and managing staff in a care role
  • Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours
  • Ability to manage a staff team and maintain a high standard of quality control
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a flexible approach
  • Ability to successfully complete the Ofsted registration
