Requirements for the role include:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
  • Experience of supporting children and young people in a care setting
  • Experience of working in a residential setting
  • Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Ability to support people with additional and complex needs and severe challenging behaviour
  • Proven management experience in a care setting
  • Leadership skills
  • Flexible approach and good organisation skills are required
  • IT skills (word processing/ spreadsheets/ email)
  • A full UK driving license is required

    Shift work (including earlies/ days/ lates/ weekends/ sleeps & on call duties)

    £29,000 per annum
