Unit 4

Registered with Ofsted for 3 Young People

Unit 4 is Lifetime Opportunities' fifth residential home, again based in the Rossendale Valley, for young people with learning disabilities autism and associated needs.

Admission is for young people aged 8-17 on arrival who fall within our statement of purpose and function (which is available upon request). Staffing ratios are flexible and based upon the needs of the resident children (usually on a 1:1 basis) and the wishes of placing authorities.

The team is headed by a Registered Manager and currently supported by Residential Support Workers. There are 3 bedrooms, one of which has been fully fitted with a track hoist system which goes into it's own bathroom making this suitable for someone with physical disabilities. There is also a further family bathroom.

The property has been finished to the highest standards and the quality of Lifetime Opportunities staff care and commitment will match this. Set on a private cul-de-sac with an electric gated entrance, this large spacious property has been custom built for the needs of young people. A large private high fenced garden is accessible at the front of the house in which the young people can play. This property is a bungalow and so would be suitable for anyone with complex mobility needs or very unstable / unpredictable epilepsy.

The house is serviced by a company vehicle that is valeted weekly including a full vehicle safety check by our own maintenance team.
