Unit 3

Registered with Ofsted for 4 young people

Unit 3 is Lifetime Opportunities’ third residential home for young people with learning disabilities, autism and associated needs. Admission is for young people aged 8-17 on arrival who fall within our statement of purpose and function (which is available upon request). Staffing ratios are flexible and based upon the needs of the resident children (usually on a 1:1 basis) and the wishes of placing authorities. The team is headed by a Registered Manager and supported by an Assistant Unit Manager and Senior Residential Support Workers.

Based in the middle of a thriving local community, it also remains obscured and private in its location, again accessible only through high electric gates, which allow privacy and ensure security.

The house in Oldham has an exceptionally large private garden accessible through patio doors in the dining room. The property also has a second dining room which enables any young person to use it for their own use such as homework or arts and crafts.

The building although accessible would unfortunately not be suitable for a wheelchair user or anybody unsteady on their feet.

Refurbished to a high standard by our own team of builders, the property boasts a downstairs cloakroom, whilst upstairs there is a bathroom and further large shower room featuring a full wet room. There are four bedrooms.

The house is serviced by a company vehicle that is valeted weekly including a full vehicle safety check by our own maintenance team.
